Friday Favorites - Back to School Edition

I don't know about you all, but I am ready for the weekend!  August in Higher Education is BONKERS and I am really looking forward to some down time this weekend.

With school starting up soon, I thought I'd highlight my favorite back to school items.  I mean, school supply shopping is the best part of going back to school.  Here are some fun finds.

I bought one of these for myself for my lunches and snacks.  I try to bring my lunch to work every day.  I'm a grazer so it's important to me to bring healthy snacks to work so I don't raid the candy jar.  I love this!  The reviews are great and it keeps the food separate with no spilling!

I also picked up this insulated sleeve to keep it cold on the way to work.  How cute is the lemon print?

Everyone needs a new schoolbag, right?  I love this bag for work.  Triple compartments means I have one pocket for my planner, one for my yumbox, and one for my wallet and phone.  And - it's from Target!  And - it's under $40!

Everyone needs a back to school outfit, right?  I love a pretty dress and I love this one from loft.  This works well for the start of the year because it is wicked hot in Texas still.  As the weather cools down though I can add a jacket or cardigan and still look put together for work.

And you can't go back to school without new shoes.  These are my hands down favorite shoes of all time.  I have them in every color in both styles.  The pumps are so comfortable.  I wear an eleven and have slightly wide feet and I can wear these pumps all day with no problems.  The flats look good with everything!  Jeans, dresses, skirts - they are perfect!

Planners!  Oh my gosh - there are so many.  This is my second year using the Simplified Planner and I LOVE it.  It has space for everything I need plus some bonus areas for notes.  I don't use the planner for work.  I use it for everything else and then some - noting meals, things to do, events, birthdays, travel, workouts, doctor's appointments.  Basically everything not work related.  I personally love how it is put together and this one just works for me.  I've linked to several though because I know planners are super personal.  I used the Passion Planner for a few years and really liked that one.  I prefer a spiral bound planner though and that was one of the main reasons I switched over.

Those are my back to school favorites!  What are your favorite things about back to school season?

Have a great weekend!
